|Client||Evolution Town Planning LLP, based near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.|
|Brief||The client was creating a start-up partnership after many years’ service with other consultancies and recognised the value of a strong logo and branding. The challenge was not being able to reference or show any previous work.|
|Skills||Design, photography, liaison for print|
|Project||The first step was to create the logo. Once the client had approved the double-triangle design we were on the way to building the brand. Not being able to use any of the client’s previous town planning projects forced us to find a creative way of portraying what Evolution Town Planning could do. Using skills learnt from product design, we had a 3-D version of the logo made out of oak, which Simon then photographed in various commercial, industrial and residential settings.
With the logo and the photographs in place, we set about designing the marketing materials and once these had been approved, liaised with the print shop to get the best result for the client. The logo and photography were subsequently used for the website, also designed by Sab Design.
